"What's so wrong with being heartless?" 
Yes, you guessed it, I'm am currently taking my Snow Queen story and fully re-realizing it and basically rewriting it!
As much as I love my Ida, the story is just too similar to Frozen. I literally never would have come up with her had it not been for Elsa.
Having said that, I've decided to take an entirely different approach at my adaptation.
The Snow Queen is now the evil Snow Queen that reigns over the land leaving her icy footsteps wherever she goes. She's had the land locked in an everlasting winter since the villagers could ever remember.
However, the most important thing to this Snow Queen is that she loves stealing the hearts of the weak.
Gerda falls victim to the Snow Queen in the story. After the Snow Queen sees how warm and full of love her heart is, she can't help but crush her...
That's all I'll say about the story for now.
For her outfit, I decided that she's going to have a glamorous ice dress. She might have a plunging neck line and have icicles dangling from her sleeves and the back of her dress.
I also decided to have her this hairstyle that swoops back. I was going for delicate yet cold.
What do you think? Do you like the fact that I'm changing the story? Do you like the plot of the new story? What do you think of the Snow Queen's design?

This is amzing. 22 things I would make different-she's too evil. Andersen's tale has her very ambigious. I would suggest you make her morality little different-sure she does evil things, but for completely different reason than we think, and shedoesn't feel evil. Like blizzard-it will kill you, but not because it is murderer-it simply is.
