Godmother (Uncharmed)

I realized something tonight... the Fairy Godmother's story has literally never been told.

I know I have plans with Charming, but I'm currently in a debate with myself on whether the Prince's or the Godmother's story would be more interesting. If I did the Godmother's story, I could make it so much bigger than a glass shoe and the search for a fair maiden.

Everyone knows the role of the Fairy Godmother, and that's to grant wishes and help people to catch their happily ever after's... and that got to thinking... what about the Godmother's own happily ever after? That's when the concept quickly grew on me and I also think it could be a neat story.

The idea is very rough, but I thought about her realizing that she doesn't just want to be a part of some else's story, so she decides she wants to write her own... happily ever after included. Naturally, the land is completely thrown into chaos when one of the most important characters doesn't make her entrance, and on top of all of that, I thought the Godmother's magic could begin to act up, which puts magic where it wasn't meant to be and throws the magic off balance. I thought of the name "Uncharmed" when I thought of how the Godmother unintentionally puts basically all fairy tales to a halt.

I tried to design her to be very magical and playful. She's very giddy and has a lot of heart.
